Position: Gas Station / Fuel Center Manager

Description: Lead and support both staff and supervisors, addressing any concerns that arise among the team or with customers. Ensure the best customer service in an effective and timely manner. To consistently uphold CTP’s Obvious Choice standards in both products and service. Provide guidance, training, and encouragement to team members, creating a positive and enjoyable work environment. Ensure all company standards are achieved and drive the location toward its profitability goals. Starting pay is $58,000/year.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Possess a thorough knowledge of department services, including the convenience store, Minnesota Reflections, Voyageur Video games, fuel center, and general custodial responsibilities.
Interview and hire candidates you feel will help grow your department and this company.
Communicate goals and expectations with all members of your team in a clear and professional manner.
Express ideas and concerns with General Manager as efficiently as possible.
Ensure fast, friendly service is delivered at all times.
Work closely with the Inventory Manager to ensure we are carrying the optimum inventory levels on a year-round basis.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of the various computer/register systems and accounting methods for balancing till.
Find creative ways to mentor and motivate coordinators and employees.
Maintain consistent training practices/manuals for coordinators and employees.
Understand, utilize, and teach Clearwater Travel Plaza’s theories of Business Operations.
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and consistently exceed standards set by the health department.
Lead by example and demonstrate positive attitudes and professionalism.
Anticipate and communicate operating expenses for the department as it relates to equipment, maintaining and improving operations.
